Scaling a multi-brand robotics and maker-commerce catalogue
How performance media, marketplace merchandising, retention flows and B2B demand generation worked together across a 3,500+ SKU catalogue.
The engagement covered a multi-brand robotics and electronics catalogue selling to students, makers, engineers, labs and hobbyists. The challenge was to scale revenue across paid media, Shopify, marketplaces and B2B demand without losing control of catalogue complexity.
The brief
A large catalogue of robotics, electronics, maker and AI products needed a connected growth system. Customers ranged from beginners buying kits to businesses and labs evaluating higher-value hardware, so the acquisition and merchandising journey had to support very different buying intents.
The operating challenge
The work sat across Meta, Google, Amazon, Bing, Shopify, retention channels and B2B campaigns. Product discovery, catalogue structure, paid-media efficiency and repeat purchase all had to be reviewed together instead of being treated as separate channel problems.
What changed
The catalogue was supported with marketplace listing and promotion work, brand-store merchandising, AI-assisted competitor research, weekly reporting and lifecycle flows. B2B app campaigns were introduced for bulk and lab-setup demand while the consumer catalogue continued to scale across paid and organic Shopify traffic.
Results recorded during the engagement
The work managed Rs 46.6L in performance marketing budget and drove Rs 56Cr+ in performance-attributed revenue alongside Rs 11.1Cr+ in organic Shopify sales. Retention initiatives contributed to a Rs 45L+ repeat-revenue target, while B2B app campaigns generated 400+ qualified leads.
Figures are presented from the original work record. Client identity and brand identifiers have intentionally been omitted from this case study.
